Shared living housing

A Place to Belong.
A Community to Call Home.

Rainbow Butterfly Foundation connects independent adults with warm, safe, and affordable shared living — a fresh start surrounded by a community who understands your journey.

Welcome to The Rainbow Butterfly Foundation LLC

Our journey is rooted in giving back to the community and making a real difference in the lives of the unhoused, veterans, and older adults. We are committed to providing quality, affordable housing and supportive services. Join us in our mission to offer stability, dignity, and a pathway to independence for those we serve.

Our mission

Why We Do What We Do

At the heart of our mission is a simple belief — God's covenant and promise (rainbow) of transformation and new life (butterfly). Everyone deserves a safe place to belong. We provide supportive, independent living environments for unhoused individuals, helping turn uncertainty into hope.

Who we serve

Built for People Ready to Thrive

Our shared homes welcome adults from all walks of life who are independent, self-sufficient, and ready to build something new.

Senior adults sharing a meal at home

Seniors

Older adults seeking affordable, social living without the isolation of living alone. Our homes offer community, safety, and the comfort of shared daily life.

Veterans relaxing together outdoors

Veterans

Those who served deserve stability and belonging. Our shared homes offer veterans a structured, supportive community as they transition to civilian life.

Housing Transitions

Whether between leases, recovering from hardship, or starting fresh, shared living offers a stable, affordable bridge to your next chapter.

Eligibility

Designed for Independent Adults

Our shared homes are built for adults who are fully independent in their activities of daily living (ADLs). This means participants can manage bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, toileting, and continence on their own — without assistance from staff or housemates.

"This isn't a limitation — it's a foundation. Our homes thrive because every participant brings their own strength and self-sufficiency to the community."

Why shared living

More Than a Room. A Real Community.

01

Affordable by Design

Shared living dramatically reduces housing costs. All homes are fully furnished and include utilities, high-speed internet, and in-unit washer and dryer — making stable, comfortable housing accessible without sacrificing dignity.

02

Built-In Connection

Loneliness is one of the greatest challenges facing adults today. Shared living means neighbors who share meals, conversation, and daily life — a natural antidote to isolation.

03

Safe and Secure

All common areas are monitored by 24-hour surveillance cameras. Our homes are drug-, alcohol-, and smoke-free environments, and every participant is screened before joining the community.

A Stable Foundation

A consistent home environment gives participants the grounding they need to pursue work, healing, and personal goals — without the constant stress of housing insecurity.
